Tools Explained in W2-1099FormWindow
We will attempt to explain the buttons and tools used in this software here.
Buttons under the Database Menu
New Database will allow you to create a new Database Manually.
Import Database will allow you to Import a Database from a ".w2a" or a ".f1a" file exported from PayWindow.
Open Database will allow you to open an existing Database.
Make a Copy will allow you to make a copy of an existing Database.
Close Database will allow you to close the database you are presently working on.
Backup will make a backup of the database you are working on.
Restore will restore a database previously backed up.
Protect Database will allow you to password protect a database.
Buttons under the Import Data Menu
The Data Import menu selection will open import tools for importing from several exported data files such as explained in importing from PayWindow the exported ".w2a" or a ".f1a" files as well as CSV comma separated variables format.
Buttons under the Company Menu
The Edit button is to be clicked to modify the data in the company record.
The Update Button is used to save the changes that you made.
The Cancel Button is to cancel the changes that you made.
Buttons under the Employees Menu
Add will add an employee to the database.
Make a copy of will make a copy of an existing employee.
Edit will allow you to edit the selected employee.
Update will save the changes that you made to the employee.
Cancel will cancel any change that you made to the employee.
Deactivate will deactivate the selected employee.
Find will search for an employee in a large database.
Batch Editor will allow you to make batch Edits to the employees
Buttons under the W2 Menu
Add will allow you to add an employee on the fly.

Edit will allow you to edit the selected employee.
Update will save the changes that you made to the employee.

Buttons under the 1099 Menu
Add will allow you to add an payees on the fly.
Make a copy will copy the selected payee.
Edit will allow you to edit the selected payee.
Update will save the changes that you made to the payee.
Cancel will cancel any change that you made to the payee.
Find will search for a payee in a large database.

Buttons under the Utility Menu
End of Year will allow you to delete all data to start fresh next year.
Options available are as follows...
Database Path
You can set the default Path for your W2-1099 databases.
Database Backup
You can set the default path for your database backups.
Email Path
You can set the path to where the emails are saved for sending.
Ribbon
You can set the colors for the Buttons and Ribbon.
File
You can register the Database file type so you can double click on a database and have it open in W2-1099FormWindow.
Screen UI
This option tells Windows to scale W2-1099 Window UI size. Use this if you use 150% larger font sizes.
