Housing Allowance

I am setting up a salaried employee who gets a housing allowance (example: salary $5,000 monthly. Of this $500 is the housing allowance). The housing allowance should be deducted from the wages that will appear in box 1 on the w-2 and in line 2 on the quarterly 941.

Setup a Miscellaneous Deduction and enter check the 941 Box as shown in this Tutorial:
