Hi Paul,

We are using Norton Online Security. The recent update (I believe it is 16.0.22) is triggering Norton to prevent the update from installing.

The Norton graphic includes a red X. The message provided is as follows:
  • "Auto-Protect bocked security risk Heur.AdvML.B. Your computer is secure."

The details are:
  • Threat type: Heuristic Virus. Detection of a threat based on malware heuristics.
  • Fewer than 100 users in the Norton Community have used this file.
  • This file was released 22 days ago.
  • This file risk is high.
  • Activity is Blocked.

I believe Norton's response is to hide a file having 0 KB size in the normal download location. For me this is "C:\Users\Office Manager\Documents\Downloads".

If I delete the file, and rerun the PayWindow/Help/Updates process, I get the same result.

So, what's up?

Bruce
