Update Cinfusion? Which forms need update for 2022 Yearly Tax?

Please explain clearly to me which IRS forms for 2022 need to be printed BEFORE updating the program to 2023 version, and which ones need to be printed AFTER updating the program.

I printed the 2022 W-2 and W3 forms BEFORE updating the program (meaning, I used Paywindow 2022 20.0.19) Was that right???

Do I need to update to 2023 version BEFORE printing 940 and Q4 2022 941?

Or should Q4 941 be printed with the 2022 version of the program?

I am sorry but I have read the update instructions so many times and am still utterly confused.

We release the new year's program on December 1st so our users can be ready to print as in December, the IRS releases the end of year forms. We add them through the month and you should have downloaded and installed PayWindow 2023 and printed all forms before January 1st when we release the 2023 tax tables.

I have not had any payroll for 2023 yet and I have not done any end of year routines for 2022 yet. I am STILL using 2022 version of the program.

1) So are the W-2 and W-3 figures I printed out using the 2022 20.0.19 program WRONG? Or are the number right? Do I need to update to 2023 and reprint them? (the info appears in the right boxes on the pre-printed W2 forms I bought from Staples).

2) Do I need to update to 2023 version for the Q4 2022 941 form?

3) Do I need to update to 2023 for form 940 for 2022?
