You attempted a date range where one or more employees were punched in but not punched back out. Under Totals select “Incomplete Times” and you will see the employees that have "open punches".

You cannot have any open time transactions to pull up the Totals report.

You should run the two reports shown in the video linked below and fix any problems before printing the Totals report or attempting to export the totals.
