    Default Non-Table Deductions

    With our salaried employees, we use what we call "non-tabled" deductions. We start with their gross income as a round figure and then deduct taxes based on an adjusted figure similar to the figures in the Circular E as well as FICA, FUTA, and SWH so that their net income is also a rounded figure.

    Is there a way to do that through PayWindow? Perhaps by creating these deductions under the "Deductions" tab and then marking the employees as exempt from the respective taxes?

    If you were to mark the employee as exempt, then all reports would ignore any taxes. But you can pay as an after the fact payroll if you do not want to use the PayWindow tax calculations. PayWindow uses the Exact Calculation method as seen in Circular E and state tax books. Here is a link to information on paying as an "after-the-fact" type entry:
