Computer won't shut down

Hi,

I am having trouble shutting down my computer when Time Billing Window is loaded. When it is loaded, the computer won't shut down, when I exit Time Billing Window it will. This was tested in sequence, without any other operations performed in the meantime.

When the on screen computer shut down button is pressed, the timer icon shows for a second, disappears, and then nothing happens. No shut down procedure is started.

Not sure what the problem is.

Help would be appreciated.

Can you give me more information as I cannot replicate the problem on my computers? What version of Windows (XP, Vista, Windows 7) and is it 32 bit of 64 bit.

Right clicking on the "Computer" or "My Computer" Icon on the Desktop or Start Menu and selecting Properties from the pop up menu will give you all the information.

Not sure why it is doing it. It is Windows XP SP3, 32 bit.

I just confirmed it as I have an old XP Notebook in the store room that I tested on and it will not shut down under XP like it does on Vista and Windows 7. I have the developers looking at it to see if they can figure out what it is.
