I ran End of year report for last year. I am trying to restore the file the file that I backed up last year so that I can use the company information this year. I am able to restore but the file is empty. I just upgraded to your new version of pay window. What is going on...

Are you following the instructions in the Tutorial on how to restore? If so, are you selecting your end of year backup? And, I hope that you did not run the end of year tool before backing that file up as it deletes all payroll transactions and any employees marked as unemployed.

If you want, we can examine your database. Follow the instructions here so we have the actual backup from the database where you are seeing the error.
