State ID on W2's and 1099's

I have never been able to print my State ID numbers in the w2's or 1099's.
I have attached the state (Wisconsin) to the employees under Tools>Deduction/Taxes.
What am I doing wrong.

Hi Steve, Do you have employees living in different states? If not, in the Company Settings uncheck item number two seen in this page of the help file:

That is for employees living and being paid in other states. In the case of those, the State ID needs to be entered into the State Tax table that is attached to them.
