View Full Version : Maryland Employer Totals

After running a test payroll, and have a question about the "Employer Totals" report for Maryland. There doesn't seem to be a way to run this report that includes all of Maryland. Each county seems to act as it's own state which will require each of the four counties that our employees reside in to have it's own separate report. These totals would then have to be added together to complete the single state weekly tax filing. Have I missed a way to choose all of Maryland, or multiple counties for this report? Is this something that can be addressed in an update if not?

Do not check the Filter by State checkbox and it should select all records.

Maybe I have asked the wrong question. What report should I be using to get the correct amount that was deducted for Maryland & Delaware on each payroll so I can make my tax deposit?

In That case, do what I told you to do and then select Delaware and check the box and print that and then subtract the Delaware amount from the first report to get the Maryland.

Hi Paul,
Would it be possible to create a tax liability report that is pay date sensitive instead of just quarterly? My boss is asking for a report that has adjusted gross wages for reporting purposes. We have an aflac cafeteria plan. I told him I would ask. If I missed it, please let me know.

We only print report periods that the IRS and States use. You can try the Custom Reports Tool as you can set date ranges for that tool. Here is a tutorial that shows how to create a Workman's Comp Audit Report:

Understood, we have to make a tax deposit every week. He's looking for a report with the adjusted gross, Fica, MC, and State to attach with the tax deposit paperwork without someone having to write in the totals. Adjusted gross doesn't appear to be available in custom reports. Maybe I am missing something in the report generator? Seems like a fairly necessary report to me.

I'm not even sure what an "adjusted" gross report is,we don't have any adjusted reports at all in PayWindow. Under Miscellaneous Reports is a Pay History report that you can select a date range to print, but again, I don't think it will give you and "adjusted" report. Take a look at it.
