When i ran my yearly report for 2019 - it did not include all my transactions for the 1st QTR. I also noticed that on employees paychecks for the
2QTR, that the year to-date totals were reset to zero. What happened?
Thanks

The only thing that can cause that is to accidentally select Restore when going to make a backup and restoring a backup prior to the missing payrolls overwriting your database.

Open the Transactions list and sort by date and then determine which payrolls are missing. You will need to set PayWindow to each of the missing pay dates and repay them to get the data that is missing.

That makes sense, there are no transactions for the 1st QTR. I will have to reconstruct the entire 1st QTR - I do have a backup for that date but I wouldn't know how to "add" it to my current database. My fault - got some work to do!
Thanks Paul!

Pull out your printed payroll reports and set the date to the first pay date and pay everyone again and then change the date to the second pay date and repeat until you have all entered again.
