Pay periods show up as ZIP files instead of DXI files in data folder. What do you do for year end tax forms and reports?

I have a feeling that you are saving your backup files to the PayWindow Data Files Folder. That is a very bad idea as the reason for making backups is so you can simply restore your data on a new computer or hard drive when a voltage spike or lightning takes out your hard drive.
You want to use a thumb drive and back up to that after every payroll and store it in the folder where you save your payday reports that we hope you are printing too.
At the end of year you just need to set the date to 12/31/2019 (we are in 2020) now and print your end of year reports. (941, 940, W2 Forms, etc.)
