I purchased the new W2-1099 program. Last year with W2 express there was a way to pay a fee of 75.00 and they would efile 1099's and W2's. Is that feature still available with the new program. I need to file 3 1099.s for a company. I have no access to the social security web portal to efile these forms. That was one of the best features of the 1099 and W2 Express programs. If not can you point me in a direction that I can pay to efile this one file? I use Zpay to do the 1099 payemnts each month.
I also had issues with printing W-2's in the W2-1099 software. as it duplicated one employee, and on the 4 up the employers name address and tax ID would not print. I did find a work around for that issue, but thought you would like to know.

You can E-File the W2 Forms and the 1099 Forms for free. You need to sign up for an account with the SSA (See the instructions in the Help file for E-Filing W2 Forms.) The IRS FIRE site is down until January 6th and you need to get an account there too for the 1099 Forms.

Of Course with only 3 1099 forms, you can submit them by Mail too.

Can you email me your database where you had those two problems as we've not run into any problem if all the data is correct. Maybe explain in the email your "work-around" too?
