New Jersey Sick Time

New Jersey passed a law for all small businesses to now accrue sick time. Its 1 hour for every 30 hours worked. Up to 40 hours for the year, I have no experience with this part of the program. Can I set up Paywindow up to keep track of this?

Thanks Paul....I paid 2 employees at 20 hours for the week and the accrual was .55 hours. Shouldn't it be .67 because that's how much 20 goes into 30?

Only 20 hours a week does not sound like a normal 40 hour work week which if you are using the example 2080 hours expected work hours they will work in a year, the calculation will be off. You need to use the total hours a year when setting up. Part time employees are different than our example. See is page in the help file:

Ok....All my employees are part time. (school bus drivers) They would be lucky if they get 1500 hours in a year. Should I just say they get 2080 so the accrual would match the state requirement?

OK, get the average hours for each driver, an example is if they work 30 hours a week, 30x52 = 1560 and that's the number you want in the bottom right corner for that employee.
