I try changing the "payroll date" window and the drop menu for 940 etc, which has the years, but I do not get the correct year, even when entering 2015.

I have tried changing payroll dates as well as the drop down menu for end of year forms, but it does not take me back to the year entered.

If you see 2015 for those forms, you have either a 2015 or 2016 version of PayWindow. There is no choice of different years for the W2, 1099-Misc, 940 and 941 forms. They are specific to the version of PayWindow. As an example, right now PayWindow 2018 still has 2017 W2's and others in it.

You will not find then in the current version, you must reinstall either PayWindow 2015 or 2016 to get the old forms. You will need to email support for the download links to past versions. You should have been able to walk over to your filing cabinet and had the forms that you submitted at the nd of 2015 in a file folder.

No you cannot print the 2015 form with PayWindow 2018. you would need to download the archive of PayWindow 2015 or 2016, I'm not sure which has the 2015 form in it. But you have a much larger problem, we only print on forms and I do not know where you can you 2015 W2 and W3 forms now in 2018. What you might need to d is to set the date to the end of 2015 and print them on plan paper and then contact the SSA and ask them if they ca get you forms to type the data into. What happened to the Employer Copies that you printed from 2015 With them you can just make copies.

I just told you in that last reply. Set the date to the end of 2015 and print the forms on plain paper. However, this only works if you've never run the end of year tool deleting past years data and do not have backup to restore from the end of 2015.
