Hi Paul,

We pay once a month on the first business day of the month. That means that today, I am able to do the 941 for 1Q2018. When I use Report Center / Tax Reports / 941 Form / Quarter 1 / Print Preview PayWindow offers "a941_1_2017_Prostasia_Inc_.pdf" and the file also contains the IRS form "941 for 2017".

I believe it should be offering "a941_1_2018_Prostasia_Inc_.pdf" and using IRS form "941 for 2018".

The PayWindow date shown on the lower left of the PayWindow window is "3/1/2018 2018". Can you point me in the right direction to get the 941 for 1Q2018?

From what I can tell the 941 for 2018 has been issued. As you know, it iis at https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f941.pdf

The 941 Form is a Quarterly Report and should not be used for figuring out your tax payments for January, February or March. You should be using the Employer Totals Reports which are actually setup for when you pay your taxes at http://eftps.gov please see this page in the help file:

We have the 2018 form and will be released it this month like we do every year.

Hi Paul,

Sorry if I was not clear. I'm not using the 941 to figure tax payments. I use the Employer Totals Reports every month to make the payments via EFTPS (just as you recommend). I'm done with that for March.

As I mentioned, we are finished with 1Q payroll already. There won't be any further payments in 1Q2018. We just need a real 941 to be done. So, I was going to use the form as a 941 and file it with the IRS. I'll wait for the 1Q2018 form to be released.

I don't think I have too much time on my hands; but, I do like to clear something off my list when I can.

No problem, it's in the hands of the developer reprogramming PayWindow for the new form and should be released this week.

Great to hear that. I was wondering what's going on with that for a few days now.

I forgot to reply, it was released at the beginning of March.
