Kansas State Tax

Was the tax rate for July 2017 for Kansas incorrect? The August and September rate is different. Has a correction for this been made? If I edit the transactions and recalculate, will it correct this discrepancy?

If you updated on July 14th you have the correct taxes, from the update checker on that date:

July 14, 2017 – KS Kansas the update from July 1st was incorrect; this is the new update for Kansas.

If it kicked in in August, my guess is that you did not get the update until then.

I would not change payrolls already paid though as that would make it look pretty but would not be correct since those payrolls are already paid and reported.

The employees will settle at the end of the year when they report their taxes.
