Update Issue

When I open PayWindow, the update screen notifies me that I need a Tax Update. When I proceed, the update program tells me I need version 11.0.0 or newer. I'm running 14.0.15.0.

What causes this? The last time this happened, I had to re-download and re-install the program.

Could a "cleaning utility" (or similar) be removing a required registry entry?

That is a problem caused by the setup package looking for paywin.exe in the "defaultappfolder" and you do not have PayWindow installed in the default location that the setup is looking for so it did not fine the program to get the version number and returned that error message.

In a case like that all you can do is to download and install the program setup from our download page.
