We are having an issue since updating to 14.0.12

You can enter all the pay information for an Employee and everything calculates correctly. Save and Exit. Press f6 to edit the person's pay again, and the Vacation Time value is still entered, but the Vacation Pay value is 0.00.

Then if you click on Vacation Time value, the pay shows up in the Vacation Pay, but is not added to the Net Pay.

Then if you click Vacation Pay vaule, it is then added to the Net Pay. Save and exit, and press f6 to edit again and it's back to 0.00

It's also not printing on the check which is how we caught this. Vacation Time or Vacation pay.

If you want to view after paying an employee, DO NOT open a transaction in the Edit Window, use the print preview of the employee reports.

The edit window is for manually paying if you made any errors. Opening a transaction brings in the defaults and Vacation's default is zero. Once you save it after reviewing leave it alone. If you do open it after saving, you will need to enter all items again or just click Cancel to not save the zero vacation pay.

Thanks for the quick reply.

If we save and exit on the employee from the initial correct entry, and go straight to the check print or print report preview. The values are still 0.00. This is how we caught the error in the first place.

This is without using the F6 and edit method at all. Vacation Time/Pay seems to be an issue.

We have been using Zpay for 5-10 years now, and this has always been our workflow:
1 person enter's all of the person's Time Values. (Hours/OT/Vacation/Holiday) and saves the work.
then another person comes back via the f6 and edit screen to enter check garnishments/deductions.(if it is government or company related)

We updated to this version for this week's paycheck, Last week's checks we had no issue at all.

I just installed an old version of PayWindow and see it used to pull up the vacation, sick and holiday totals. I've asked the developer to look into this.

Is there an easy route to roll back on our version? We need to get these last few people who used vacation last week to get a check today.

If you open the transaction simply click your mouse in the Holiday or other unused hours to calculate the Vacation Pay.

Recalculating isn't the issue, its just something we noticed and mentioned in the first post to help narrow down this issue.

When we print checks or reports the vacation information isn't showing up.

It's a very bad week for this to have happened, as we require employees to use their vacation time saved from last year by April 1st, so we have quite a few still waiting on checks.

Actually you said: "When we print checks or reports the vacation information isn't showing up."

The reason for that was you opened the transaction and saved it without clicking on of the fields that causes the vacation calculation.

The Vacation information isn't showing up on Checks or Reports, when we save the transaction with everything being correct.

On first entry, or subsequent edits.... the vacation information is saying 0.00 on checks and/or reports.

I explained this in the second post:

If we save and exit on the employee from the initial correct entry, and go straight to the check print or print report preview. The values are still 0.00. This is how we caught the error in the first place.

This is without using the F6 and edit method at all. Vacation Time/Pay seems to be an issue.

Two options, the first is the easiest, I created a video which will be available for a few days at this link:

http://zpay.com/pw/Vacation/

That shows you how to open it and where to click to calculate the Vacation pay. Then you would Save and Close it and print the checks and reports.

The other would be to delete the transactions and repay them without opening the transactions to look at them.

The problem with loading the Vacation, Sick and Holiday pay when opening the transactions in edit mode was fixed in version 14.0.13 and is ready to download.
