Since installing the latest Z-Pay update, every time I try to create or open a PDF created in Z-Pay it crashes my computer - everything freezes. I first experienced this when trying to create a new form 941. But have done some research and it also happens when I open a 941 from previous years. It does not happen when I open a PDF that was created in another program (Excel).

My guess would be that you need to update Adobe Acrobat as we really do not create the 941 Form, that is actually the IRS 941 Form from their website, we just make a copy and poke the data into it.

I cannot replicate the problem here on any of our seven computers and none of our thousands of users has had a problem either. I do know that the IRS uses the newest Adobe Tools to create their forms.

I tried to update Adobe and it indicates I have the latest update. I thought you just plug data into the 941 Form so it didn't make any sense at all when I tried to open a saved form from several years ago and it crashed. Any other suggestions? Would uninstalling help?

I did not receive a disc this year when I purchased the program. So if I uninstall PayWindow will I be able to download it again from the website if I have my letter with the Registration Code?

I backed up the company file.

If you can't open past year's PDF's it is Adobe Acrobat or you have some other Acrobat type program installed. I would uninstall Acrobat and then download and reinstall it to see if that helps.

Before seeing your message I uninstalled Z-Pay, Then I tried to open an old PDF from Z-Pay. It took a while to open it but finally it opened. Then I reinstalled Z-Pay. Some how something must have gotten corrupted. I really don't understand how it affected only PDF's from Z=Pay. But everything seems to be working properly now. Thank you for your help.
