Federal withholding wrong for only 1 employee

Hi Paul, I have one I can't figure out. I have one employee that her federal withholding is off. She started in July of last year, and no mention was made until she got her W-2, and noticed that her federal withholding was off. I looked at last years database and I see nothing different than all of my other employees. She is in as hourly, 1 fed and 1 state for exemptions. Only $23.10 was deducted. This year so far only $1.76 has been deducted. Where am I missing my mistake?

Not enough information Jay. I need *all* of the federal settings. In addition to what you gave me I need:

Married, Single?

Pay Period, Weekly, by weekly etc? <-- this is usually the one item that can really change withholding. If it is a weekly payee and you accidentally have it set as say monthly it is a big difference.

What was the dollar amount of the wages?

With that we can test.
