Such a basic question and I've looked for the answer.
I have small payrolls, so at the end of the year I don't clean out the employees that are unemployed. I'm thinking the answer to my question has to do with marking people unemployed. What is the difference between these two choices on reports. Thanks.

When marked as unemployed, the "Filter" button in the employee grid toggled their display on and off so you don't have to wade through a bunch of employees no longer with the company.

Also if you select Current Employees or Active Employees, they will not be displayed on the reports.
