Paul

I think I may have found a small bug

I have New york students which I do not pay SUTA on (Therefor my SUTA and SDI wages are different) when I ran my first payroll I printed the Tax Liability Report. I noticed the Employer SDI rate calculation used the Subject to SUTA Wage number instead of the subject to SDI employer wage number. It was however correct on the pay period employer totals report.

let me know if you would like me to email you the 2 copies

Thanks
kendq

I never got a ping that you posted this message on 3/28 for some reason.

Looking in the Tax Tables for New York State, the SUTA Wage Limit is set to $10.500.00 and the SDI Wage Limit is set at $8,500.00.

But looking at SDI Wage Bases, I'm seeing New York shows (Employees Weekly Wage). Does that sound correct? If so, set that $8,500.00 to be 99,999.999.99.

The percentages you should have set in your company settings under the Company Override Settings.

Let me know if that SDI wage limit does not have a limit and I will set that in the tax tables as a default.

Also if you students are exempt from SUTA, set that option in the employee settings for the students.
