Is there an option to backup all or multiple company databases at once instead of having to select each company individually? Also, I would like to schedule weekly backups on a regular basis, is this possible? If not, will you consider adding these options to the Backup function? Thanks.

Any backup software will backup all of the files and folders in your documents folder. I have our computers backed up every night to a stand alone hard drive on our network.

But for our payrolls we do, I have an individual thumb drive that is stored in the company payroll reports folder as nice as it is to have all files backed up, it is much cleaner to pick from a single company's backups than wade through a backup drive with thousands of files on it.

Every pay day, we print our reports, backup to that companies backup thumb drive and file the reports and drive and move to the next. Much cleaner than mass backup files when you need just a single backup.

Will the thumb drive work if I connect to another computer to use PayWindows or does PayWindows need to be downloaded on the other computer? I am curious because over the summer I had an emergency hospital visit and I had to have someone from the company use my computer ,at my home, to do payroll, it would tons easier to just give them my back up thumb drive in case of another emergency. Would that work? Or could I just download Paywindows on another computer if I use the same info. from my email?

Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.

You have to install PayWindow on the computer you will be using. But a Thumb Drive would be good for using the database on if you are going back and forth between two computers. Just make sure to backup the database onto the computer or another thumb drive just in case the drive goes bad.
