Hello,
I am using pay window 13.0.2 to do payroll for 2 company's.
Both company's have one employee, both employee's are paid the same.
Both employee's have the same withholding and same deductions.
Both company's are using the same federal and state tax table.
BUT here is the problem, If I pay them the same amount of hour's, 40hr's, the federal tax is $0.15 different and the state tax is $0.03 different.
I know it is not a lot but it does not make any sense.
The payroll for both company's is done on the same computer.
Any insight would be great.
Thanks, Jim

Something has to be different as I cannot replicate it here. I'd need to see both databases to see what you have to tell what is different.

Please see the instructions at this link to send us your database:

Make sure to reference this message thread so I know why you sent the backups to me.

I received the two databases and this was as I thought, the settings were different in the two companies. The CARinc Company has a deduction that is marked as exempt from FIT and SIT taxes. So $1.00 of that employee's wages is exempt from those two taxes looking in his deduction settings.

All is working as expected.
