Using the Quickbooks check format in Zpay. I printed a practice check on a blank piece of paper. In the wages report area the line after the employee's name lists the Reg Rate: with a blank space and then the pay rate. The pay rate instead of being right after the colon is up against the Reg Hrs:

Is there a way to do away with the blank space by maybe left aligning the numbers?

Also, there are 5 rows of the same thing like this:
Reg Rate: Reg Hrs: OT1 Rate: OT1 Hrs: OT2 Rate: OT2 Hrs:
Reg Rate: Reg Hrs: OT1 Rate: OT1 Hrs: OT2 Rate: OT2 Hrs:
Reg Rate: Reg Hrs: OT1 Rate: OT1 Hrs: OT2 Rate: OT2 Hrs:
Reg Rate: Reg Hrs: OT1 Rate: OT1 Hrs: OT2 Rate: OT2 Hrs:
Reg Rate: Reg Hrs: OT1 Rate: OT1 Hrs: OT2 Rate: OT2 Hrs:

Only the first one has meaningful numbers in it. Is there a way to do away with those other four rows?

I found the video about how to input a $ sign or asterisks before the check amount. Could I do something similar to accomplish what I am talking about above?

Thanks,
Harold

There are two QuickBooks checks supported and these links show what they look like when printed:

Sorry but as a canned payroll package, we've tried to cover just about every possible type of information on the check stubs and unfortunately, if the items were removed, the program would crash when attempting to poke the information in them.

So the answer is now they cannot be removed.

I understand what you say about trying to cover all the bases and inability to change some things. Both checks that you posted links to were for salaried people. I am attaching a txt file showing a check for an hourly employee so that you can see what I am talking about. Those extra lines that are repeated with nothing but zeroes in them are what I would like to keep from showing up on the check. I was going to send a pdf file of the check but it was too big to upload.

thanks,
Harold

PayWindow is a "canned" package and as I said to cover as many different needs as possible and the those items cannot be removed.

I went into the Quickbooks check design and edited it to look more like what my client was wanting. After putting in the asterisks before the check amount numbers I worked in the wage report area on the check stub. If any one is interested they can email me and I will share what I did. It seems to be working without having to re-install Zpay. Of course I saved the original check design file in a backup folder before I started. And I copied the new check design file in another backup folder.
