I am looking to possibly purchase ZPay to replace my current payroll program. I am very impressed so far what it will do, but have a few questions. I prepare payrolls for approx 10 companies. I have 1 company that operates 2 pizza franchises, but is reported under one tax ID#. I print out all reports and checks "by department". Does ZPay have the ability to do this? If the checks and reports are printed out in alpha order, that will not work for this company. Also, can I print the checks to "PDF" and send to the client to print the checks in their office? Your help is much appreciated.

If you want separate Department Reports (we have up to 20 Departments that can be assigned) and the Cost Accounting report will break it down into departments. But if you need to separate each report we have other than the cost accounting report, you would need to use the employee ID for each department like Admin would be 1001 through 1999 and 2001 through 2999 for Cooks and such. Then you can use the filter to print reports for each group.

Our software prints on pre-printed check stock and PDF does not generally align properly to do what you asked.

We sell through Shareware where you download and install the software and use it without paying a penny for 30 days. If you like it during the 30 days, you go back and pay for it, if not simply uninstall it. As an accountant, you can have as many company databases as your computer can hold with no extra cost like most payroll software does.
