View Full Version : Importing Employees from Time Clock to Pay Window

Normally we export employees from time clock then import that to Pay Window. The export has 13 employees. When I import to Pay Window only 12 show up. The missing employee has been imported before with no issues. I cannot figure out why this one employee does not show up in Pay Windows but is in Time Clock?
Any ideas?

Does the employee display in the export to PayWindow screen when you export? And if so is the checkbox(s) checked?

Yes that is the strange part. They are listed and check the check the check box. I even tried to import just the one employee and cannot do it. This is the first time this employees has not come over. look at the export and they are there , box checked and hours worked.

If it is not poking the hours into PayWindow, the employee ID's do not match. That is how the data is transferred from TimeClockWindow to PayWindow and why we explain in the help file that when adding an employee, it is best to add in PayWindow and then Import into TimeClockWindow.

Ok I will check that. That is the process we used and the employee has been working fine for a year until this last pay period. Will go back to pay window and create the employee and move to time clock to see if it resolves the issue.

Then there is a different problem if that employee was set up a year ago and had been working all along and now does not.

I would need you to send me you company database for PayWindow and TimeClockWindow to see what you may have done to break it.

You do not want to have two records in PayWindow or TimeClockWindow for the same employee.
