zero paycheck

This is probably a unique situation, but we have several employees who owe the company more than the amount of their paycheck at times. For the past year or so, I've been able to deduct the full amount of their net pay so that the paycheck is zero and I'd really like to still be able to do this. But now I can't due to your update: The trap to not allow a zero check to be created was lost from previous versions which would cause problems. Any suggestions for a workaround for our situation since it's the update that's causing me problems?

The only work around is to leave at least a penny in the net or leave them one dollar in that pay check.
