I expanded my business across state lines for the first time in 2013. Most things I need seem to work OK.
However I either don't understand or am asking for a small upgrade that would make my life a little easier.

When I printed W2's, I noticed that all State ID's were from my home base state. I tried to fix this via the Company settings. However, if I select the multi-state processing box, I have to manually enter the state ID .....UGGGGH

I would like the ability to enter my state ID's for each state and the W2''s to be printed with the appropriate number seamlessly.
I did think of the trick of printing one states employess W2's, then changing the number in the company settings before printing the other states W2's.

Also, I would like to enter separate SUTA rates for each state.

No, all you needed to do was to enter the State ID into the tax records before printing W2 Forms like the instructions in the help file at this page show (bottom of that page::

Unfortunately we do not have the ability to enter multiple SUTA rates except by company.

The solution since SUTA is a flat percent to print the taxable Wage Reports to see each employees taxable wages.

Thanks, As frequently happens to me, I discovered my answer and the state tax tables soon after posting this, but was unable to find the thread to remove it.

One other thing, because of the stupid 940 schedule A, I have 2 different FUTA rates. Separate state FUTA rates would be nice, but I can live with the current functionality.

Thanks again.
