Hi Paul,

Subject systems is: Windows 8.1, PayWindow 2014

When I press the "Open 940A" button from the Payroll Reports Center/Yearly Reports/940 form window, Windows 8.1 kicks me to a blank, and unresponsive, window. I can return to PayWindow and my desktop from the flyout in the upper left-hand corner, but I can't see the 940A. Is this a bug or a result of how I have Windows 8.1 configured?

Here's hoping you port this program to Mac ;-)

That opens the IRS 940 Form PDF file in Adobe Acrobat. It is a large form and does take some time to load, but it is opening as expected as I just tested it here on three computers in the office.

Two of the computers were Windows 8.1 with no problem.

Well, it won't work for me, just as an FYI. I reinstalled Win 8.1 and it still won't work.
However, I installed a third-party PDF reader and voila!
So it's not PayWindow, evidently.

My guess is that you did not have Adobe Acrobat installed or an old version as that form is the *newest* from the IRS website and probably requires the most current release of Adobe Acrobat or the FREE reader.
