I have changed the data file location to different network drives. I am currently using a drive that is constantly accessed for another program that maintains the database there also. I did this to make sure the drive was shutting down or coming up with some other error.
I have also uninstalled from all computers and started from scratch and get the same error within a day or two. The error reads as follows:
Invalid Data File. Please select "Data Path" in Tools|Options
ADO Error Message: [FireDAC][Phys][ODBC][Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Cannot open database '(unknown)'. It may not be a database that your application recognizes, or the file may be corrupt.
Each time I uninstall and reinstall, or start a new database, it will work for a while (various times, one day or more), then will come up with this error. What I don't understand is that the program worked fine while I was using the trial, but shortly after purchasing and unlocking, these problems started occurring. I have spent quite a bit of time trying different things to make it work, but haven't had any luck.
All the clients and the admin are on machines running Windows 7 Pro, and the database is kept on a network drive.
Please help!
Thank you,
Frank
