View Full Version : How do we export reports in TCW in CSV format?

It was my understanding that we could export our reports from TCW in CSV format, but I don't see anything that would allow this.

Yes you would click the Database Tab and then select Export Employees. There are two options, to export to PayWindow or CSV, see this page in the help File:

I was hoping to export the hour data. I did find a place to export a report in csv format, but the data is not manipulable. Is it possible to export the hour data in such a way that it can be manipulated? We need to get our time data into decimal format vs. h:m:s format.

Yes the export is in Decimal.

This may be of interest to those that need reports with decimal totals:

New in TimeClockWindow Build 2.0.12:

New option to display time totals in reports in decimal. The default is in hours, minutes and seconds, by selecting the option when printing reports for "Decimal Time" it will print the totals in decimal rounding at two digits after the decimal.

New option in Exporting time to use two digit decimal time. The default is five digits after the decimal.
