I've downloaded the pdf howto file for QB export, but I can't get past the first step.
Running QB Pro 2010 under Windows 7 x64
When initially trying to export, I have the file open in QB, try to select the file in Paywindow, and get the error that the file is open in another app.
I close the file in QB, select it in PW, then try to connect, get the regular page in PW saying file needs to be open in QB.
Open file in QB, retry connect in PW, get same message.
At no time does QB give any indication that it's being connected to.

Things I've done: Installed QB foundation classes, verified .NET 2.0, checked that PW and QB were up-to-date, tried running PW as administrator.

That paper was created for us by a QuickBooks Professional and I know back when I tested it, it worked. Back then I had the same version you were using but cannot get the current version to work myself. Intuit has made changes as they want to keep their customers hostage with their annual prices of $350.00 to over $3,000.00 a year and have blocked our access it seems.

I did get it to work with QuickBooks 2011 after reading the on screen instructions. I forgot to open the same QuickBooks file in QuickBooks that I was selecting for my test in PayWindow before attempting to make that initial hookup.

So it should work with your 2010 version as well.

OK, I've gotten it working, but wanted to post in case anybody else runs into this.

For some reason, the QB foundation classes didn't install properly the first time 'round, and after rerunning it, it wasn't usable until I did another reboot (which the installer doesn't call for).
