I just updated to the new build and all of my 2013 data bases are missing. In the selection menu I have a group of old temporary files to choose from. I have a big payroll tomorrow. I am not sure where my currant files are. Please help.

You have two choices, follow the instructions in this Video to restore your last backup to the My Documents\PayWindow Data Files\ folder and then open it:

Or use the Company Organizer to locate and open it as seen in this video:

Why when I did this update did all the 2009 & 2010 files come up in the se;ection menu? Why are some of my companies missing all together. I did go and restore my one major file for the payroll I have today but it states it is a tempory file. Do I need to go and restore each company file? How can I get rid of all the un necessary files that I have in the selection menu. They make it hard to pick through. I am not sure what they all are. I can send you s screen shot if that will help.

First I'm not sure how you are restoring, I'm guessing you may not be using our built-in backup and restore if you are getting something that says it is a temporary file as that does not happen when using our tools and a USB drive like we suggest in our tutorials. Watch these two Tutorials:

If you do anything different than you see in those videos, we really cannot help you.
On the pick list, that is stored in an ini file and is a history of all files that you have ever opened in PayWindow. If you want, call me in the morning and we can do a web meeting to open that hidden file and delete the history list with a web meeting where I can see your screen.
