Will the new additional medicare tax be automatically figured for employees making over the 200,000.00 limit, or will I have to figure this manually? In my next payroll I have 9 employees that will have to pay the additional medicate tax. Will these additional taxes be considered when the federal tax liability amount on the employer totals page and the 941 totals? Just making sure I understand how this will work so I get it done right the first time.

Read the instructions as it is not just over $200,000.00 it is a bit more detailed and you want to set the individual employees to use the correct wage threshold in the description for item 5.

Thanks, but unfortunately The high wage earners that I have to set up have to all withhold at the higher single rate. They all request married but filing at the higher single rate. You do not offer that option however in your withholding choices.

You must use the selections to insure that the correct wage trigger is used for the high earning rate employees. If they want additional withholding, the best way to handle that is to use the options numbered as 24 and 25 in the screen shot on this page in the help file:
