Thanks for fixing the last-first name sorting thing Paul. There are three family members on our business' payroll and it was always a little weird to see them not listed in the expected order on paycheck registers and such.
I tested a the reports we generally use and it seems the last-few sorting works as expected except on Employee Wage Statements and for W-2 forms.

Except the Employee Wage Statement and W2 Forms? I tested with a database I created with all the same last name and different first names and they sort as expected in those two reports.

Not sure how you can get something different? Except for selecting the employee code option or social security number option in the W2's?

Maybe it's me Paul, or maybe it's because we use middle initials in our employee database.
I'll email you the database and let you tell me what you get when you run a Monthly Employee Wage Statement for 01/31/2013

Thanks for the database, I got what you got and did some research and saw the developer was sorting by Last, Middle, First and the middle initial was causing the problem.
My test database did not have any middle initials and sorted as expected. :-)
Fixing it to use the Last, First, Middle sort order which will be in the next release.
