Is there a way to override the program so that when printing the W-3 Transmittal Form on line 12a (deferred compensation) that it does not also include the deduction for Health Savings Accounts? When I print preview my W3 on line 12a it combines the amounts for 401(k) and HSA.

I'm assuming you did not set up more than one deduction in box 12a, as if you have more than one deduction that goes in box 12, you need to use 12a, 12b as seen in the drop list choices in this image.

And when the W3 is prepared, all box 12 items are added together.
