Restore payroll from backup starting point of 4/2012

Unfortunately my computer that had the PayWindow software has a corrupted hard drive. I need to install PayWindow software on new PC but in preparing to do this I also realized that my backups are no good. The last good backup that I have is dated April 6, 2012. I do not have an issue with reconstructing the payroll files from that point to the end of 2012 so that I can take care of taxes, W-2 etc. My question is, the only software download that I see on website is for 2013. Can I download the 2013 software to then go back change the dates and process payroll to reconstruct 2012 data? Is there 2012 software download that I can access instead?
