Bonus

This is the first time I have had to pay a bonus. We do it at a separate time than our regular salary. I went on today to practice and I put the bonus in and deleted the regular salary and deductions however when I pressed f6 to calculate it put the deductions back in. I was informed that some employees do not take out federal and state taxes for the bonus either. Is there detailed instructions or a tutorial to watch so I do it correctly the first time? Thank you.

Since PayWindow is designed to pay everything in a single check, you would need to fool PayWindow to do a special bonus check.

When entering the bonus, under Details 4 Tab before calculating the taxes, set the deductions to zeros.
