I am attempting to set-up PayWindow on two machines through a network. While I was out of the office, my supervisor ran a test payroll to see how the system works. When I go to map the .dxi between the two machines, I am met with his message:
"The file you are going to overwrite is:
\\Boatyardmain\shareddocs\PayWindow Data Files\CobbsMarina.dxi
"That file probably has data in it. If you choose to overwrite that file, the program will re-initialize the data file and all your data will be lost forever."
Since the payroll was a test and it will not effect our YTD totals, should I just go ahead and continue with the mapping? Or should we delete the payroll transactions from our records and then map the .dxi?
