Hi there,

I am currently the treasurer of my church and have the Zpay payroll program loaded onto my personal laptop and I do the payroll for the church that way. I am going to enlist another volunteer to help me with my tasks and that person is hopefully going to take over the payroll processing. My question is do I need to purchase another program/license from you or since it is the same payroll can I just reload the program onto her computer? I would like to keep both computers up to date with the program so that in case one of us is unable to process payroll for a particular week the other person still can. I plan that at the end of each payroll she will email to me a backup so that each of us always has the most recent payroll run.

Hope this all makes sense. If you have other suggestions or thoughts on a more efficient way to do this that would be great.

But my main question is under the above circumstance do we need to purchase another license.

thank you,
jneumann

You can install it on your replacements computer. See this FAQ:

That said, since this person will be in training with you, you will need to be 100% sure that if the payroll is processed on one computer, that you make a backup and restore it on the other computer. There is nothing worse that not keeping the database synced between the two computers.
