941 Schedule B Discrepancy

I submitted my 4th Quarter 941 without fully reviewing the schedule B to make sure it corresponded with my deposits. It did not. For the first time in several years, I have 4 entries which are off, revealing a much higher number than the deposit amount. I have verified that I deposited the appropriate amount of money per the Employer's Payroll Total Report, however, the Schedule B shows that I should have deposited more. How would I have known that? Or better still, why are they different? I could really use some insight here.

I'm guessing that you forgot to click the button for semi-weekly payee and it opened the previously saved Schedule B. The current release of PayWindow has been set to not open the Schedule B unless the check box is checked. We never realized that could happen until a week or so ago and it's been that way since 2000, 12 years ago.

Thanks Paul. That makes sense, and I made a copy of this thread to show that it was a problem with the system and no just my brain.

I'm just glad that I recalled what the problem would most likely be as we've had so many things we've been doing this last month it was the one that I personally caught when it would open an older file just because it was in the folder even without selecting the semi-weekly option. If you install the current release using your update checker or from our download page, that cannot happen again.
