Sick hours not deducting from accrual

We manually enter vacation and sick accruals at beginning of year (40 hours each for this particular employee). For the last pay period we entered 10 hours of sick time for one of our employees. It shows that the sick time was paid properly on his check, but his sick accrual still shows the original 40 hours accrued. Why did this not update?

In addition to entering the 40 hours, you also needed to set up accruals for the employees in order for paying vacation would subtract it from the accruals.
