Grouping Employees by Departments on Reports

Is there any way to group employees by departments or "cost code" on the reports? Or select certain employees for a report? I can select employees as long as they are consecutive in the employee list. Even when I group the list by the "cost code" heading, I can't select certain ones for the reports. Am I missing something?

Only if you had the foresight of planing when setting up the employees as companies that want to do that use series of employee ID's to make it possible like 1000 through 1999 and 2000 through 2999 and so of for the groups as then you can select a range to report on. This was explained in the help file under Item 1, the Employee ID's:

But once you've started the year, you cannot change the Employee ID's.
