Can you help me figure this one out? I want to know why all of this is different.

You never clicked the Pay Button to calculate the taxes and net pay. If you tried to save that, we'd have asked if you wanted to do it.

I'm just worried about the earnings. The earnings is different before the calculations. Quickbooks earnings is different than Zpay's.

You need to check what you put in for an hourly rate, most likely a typo as you can view what you have and then do the math with a calculator to see what you get as we've never been off on that with over 7,000 users. It's simple math, hours * pay rate that you entered in the employee settings.

I'm just wondering why there is a 7 cent difference in Quickbooks. What we were wanting to do was to use your program to calculate checks and check stubs. Put all that info into Quickbooks manually so we can keep track of paychecks there as well. I can't do that if there's an initial difference before the taxes are taken out. I've triple checked it all and I can't get Quickbooks to agree with Zpay because of the initial earnings is different. I'm thankful that you're replying so fast and helping out. If I know this will work for us Zpay is the option we will be taking.

We use the exact calculation method which again, you can audit with a calculator. It's possible that QuickBooks is rounding up or down the results.
PayWindow comes out to the exact penny.

I know this is a different question in the same thread as another. Is there a way to just print out pay stubs in this program? We don't print checks here.

You can do like I do for the local VFW Post who I do the payroll for. I just print the checks on plain paper and give the sheets to then and they write a check and put both in an envelope. Or you can set each employee as a Direct Deposit Payee by checking that option in their settings (don't need the account number or routing number) and print the Direct Deposit stubs. Of course this will only work on payrolls done after you make the changes.
