Pay Period Date

We are a bi-weekly payer and pay every other Tuesday for the previous two weeks ending on Sunday. We had payroll on 1/10/2012 for 12/26/2011 to 1/8/2012. Is there anyway in the system to reflect that so that it prints on the paycheck? Right now my check shows "Pay Period Date: 1/10/2012 to 1/10/2012".
