.dxp and png files

I'm looking thru my pay window data file subdirectory and find some files with extensions:
.png
.inf
.ldb
.asc
.dxp

what programs open these files?
can I delete them?

can I delete .idx files (I'm guessing they are index files)

.png is an image file.

.inf is the information file when to exported from PayWindow.

.asc is the ascii exported file.

.ldb is the "lock" file for your database that locks records so if someone on the network tries to edit a record you have open it blocks access.

.dxp is the save report file formats from the Custom reports.

.dxi is the company database file extension.

Deleting the .idx index files will destroy the corresponding tax files.
