Upgraded to 2012 and data from years 2010 and 2011 is lost!

I upgraded to 2012 and my history only has payroll from past years to 2009, 2010(I did not close out any of these years) and 2011 are missing. I had backed up my files and I tried to restore and the restore says the data is restored but it is not. It is still payroll to 2009. I need help right away.

You can use the company organizer to see where your files are as it sounds like you have them all over the place. But if you do have the backup of your last payroll, restore it to the My Documents folder as shown in the screen shot in the help file:

Then click File and Open Company and locate the My Documents\PayWindow Payroll Files folder and select and open your restored company file.
