View Full Version : Employee's FICA expense - just downloaded tax table update and it's back to 6.2% ...?

Justed opened up PayWindow 9.0.48 and got a popup saying I had to update the tax tables so I proceeded with download and installed in. Opened PayWindow back up and the FICA rate for the employee went back to 6.2% from 4.2%. Please advise. Thanks.

You must have an old version of PayWindow installed as 9.0.48 does not trigger any updates needed since it is the current release which had the current tax tables installed dated 8/6/2011.

Then to be 100% sure, I just downloaded the tax tables and installed them and sure enough, the FICA splits are entered as we entered them in January of this year as you can see below:
